Installing your ViperVex widget

Every widget arrives as an instant download containing a single self-contained file for OBS and Streamlabs, plus a StreamElements version. Pick the route that matches your setup. Both take about two minutes and neither needs any code.

OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop

  1. Unzip your download. You are looking for the single .html widget file.
  2. In your Sources panel, click + and choose Browser (Streamlabs calls this Browser Source).
  3. Tick Local file, click Browse, and select the widget file.
  4. Set the Width and Height to the dimensions listed on the product page.
  5. Click OK, then click the gear icon on the widget itself and type your Twitch channel name.

That is it. The widget starts pulling your live data straight away.

StreamElements

  1. Open your StreamElements overlay editor and add a Custom Widget.
  2. Open the four tabs: HTML, CSS, JS and Fields.
  3. Paste the matching file from your download into each tab. Some widgets include a one-click import file instead.
  4. Set your channel name and preferences in the Fields panel on the right.

Your settings are saved automatically

Everything you configure saves locally and survives a refresh, a restart, a scene switch and a reconnect. If you move to a new machine, use the widget's export and import buttons to carry your exact setup across.

About the live data

Followers, current game, stream title, uptime and your avatar are read from Twitch without needing a token or a login. Where a number cannot be fetched, the widget shows a dash rather than inventing a zero. Kick and YouTube appear as social links, since Twitch is the live-data platform.
