STREAMHQ Privacy Policy
STREAMHQ by ViperVex
Effective September 21, 2026. This policy covers STREAMHQ, a Twitch extension made by ViperVex ("we"), and the STREAMHQ service that stores each channel's hub.
In one sentence
STREAMHQ stores what streamers write for their hub, a few anonymous daily counters, and, for channels that bought the full version, which channel it was; it stores nothing that identifies a viewer.
Viewers
We do not receive, ask for or store your Twitch username, your Twitch user id, Twitch's opaque viewer id, your email address, your IP address, or any session or advertising identifier. STREAMHQ does not ask Twitch to share your identity.
What we do store are daily counters that cannot be traced to anyone:

The counters have no viewer column: two viewers doing the same thing add two to the same number. Words from a search that found nothing are counted at most once per viewer per day, and the streamer is shown only words that were counted at least twice, so they can answer the question on their channel: words someone typed once are never shown to anyone. Please do not type anything private into the search box: it searches a channel's public information.
To stop one viewer inflating those counts, the service keeps a short-lived value in memory, derived from Twitch's opaque viewer id by a one-way function. It is never written to disk and disappears when the service restarts.
The panel asks Twitch directly for public information about the channel (whether it is live, its category, its name, its picture and its Twitch schedule). That request goes from your browser to Twitch, not through us.
We set no cookies. The extension may remember small preferences in your browser's local storage, such as which section you had open; that never leaves your device.
Streamers
We store what you write for your hub, because that is the product: your profile, schedule, games, goals, setup, questions and answers, rules, milestones, achievements, news, commands, community text, pages and their saved versions, the images you upload, and your settings. It belongs to you. You can download all of it at any time, and delete all of it at any time with Backup → Delete everything in the STREAMHQ configuration page, which takes effect immediately.
If you buy the full version
The full version is bought from ViperVex outside Twitch, through our own shop or a marketplace such as Etsy. That store processes your payment; we never see or store your card details.
From an order we receive the order number, the contact address the store gives us, and the Twitch username you provide, so we can activate the right channel. The licence list keeps that channel's Twitch username, its Twitch account id and an optional order note for as long as the licence is active, because that record is what turns the full version on. It is not removed by "Delete everything", which deletes your hub's content, not your purchase. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. We do not use any of it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored
The STREAMHQ service runs on Cloudflare Workers, with its database hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL) in the United States. Every request is verified with Twitch's signed extension token, travels over HTTPS, and can only reach the channel it belongs to.
How it is used
Only to run STREAMHQ on the channel it was created for. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not share it with third parties beyond the hosting providers named above. One channel's data is never combined with another's.
Twitch
STREAMHQ runs inside Twitch. Twitch's own processing of your data is covered by the Twitch Privacy Notice.
Your rights
Because we hold no identifier for viewers, there is nothing tied to a viewer for us to find, show or delete. If you believe something about you appears in a streamer's published content, contact that streamer, or us, and we will help. Streamers can export or delete everything their channel holds themselves, at any time, as described above.
Children
STREAMHQ is for Twitch users and follows Twitch's age requirements. It collects nothing that could identify anyone, of any age.
Changes and contact
