STREAMVERSE Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026. This policy covers STREAMVERSE, a Twitch panel extension made by ViperVex ("we"), and the STREAMVERSE service that stores community progress for it.

What we store

Data Why How long
Your opaque Twitch extension id (an anonymous id Twitch gives the extension, not your username) To keep your progress in a channel Until you delete it, or the streamer deletes viewer progress
XP, level, streak, activity counts, achievements, collection, favorites and showcase choices The features of the extension Same as above
Which quests and votes you took part in So rewards are given once and votes are counted once Same as above
Identifiers of your recent actions So nothing is granted twice 48 hours
Whether you were active on a given day The "active today" count 3 days
Your Twitch display name Shown on the leaderboard - only if you join the leaderboard and choose to share your Twitch identity with the extension Removed when you leave the leaderboard
For licensed channels: the channel's Twitch username and account id, and an optional order note To know which channels STREAMVERSE is active on Until the license is removed
The streamer's configuration (theme, pet, quests, journey, goals, profile text) The streamer's setup Until the streamer changes or resets it

What we never collect

  • Email addresses or passwords
  • Twitch login tokens
  • Chat messages
  • Payment information - STREAMVERSE has no purchases
  • IP addresses (rate limiting uses short-lived counters held in memory only)
  • Any data from viewers who are not logged in to Twitch

How it is used

Only to run STREAMVERSE on the channel where it was created. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties. Progress in one channel is never combined with another channel's.

Twitch

STREAMVERSE runs inside Twitch. Twitch's own processing of your data is covered by the Twitch Privacy Notice. Sharing your identity with an extension is optional, is handled by Twitch, and can be revoked in your Twitch settings.

Your choices

  • Delete your data: in the STREAMVERSE panel, open the sparkle menu and press "Delete my data in this channel". This removes your profile, quest participation, votes and activity records for that channel.
  • Leaderboard: off until you opt in; you can leave at any time.
  • Streamers can reset their configuration, reset community progress or delete all viewer progress from the configuration page.

Security

Every request to the STREAMVERSE service is verified with Twitch's signed extension token, travels over HTTPS, and is limited to the channel it belongs to.

Children

STREAMVERSE is for Twitch users and follows Twitch's age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. For questions or data requests, contact ViperVex using the support email shown on the STREAMVERSE extension page on Twitch.
