Chat Quiz Game Widget | Interactive Stream Overlay for Twitch
Press start and a challenge appears on your scene. Chat answers by typing — !answer B — and the round resolves in front of everyone: who got it, how fast, and where they now sit on the board.
Turn on auto-run and it plays rounds back to back without you touching it. Set a round count and it stops on its own.
Why you'll love it
- It fills the quiet stretches. A round takes seconds to start and gives a silent chat something to do that isn't waiting for you to say something.
- Nobody installs anything. Viewers type in the chat they're already in. No app, no sign-up, no link to click.
- It can run itself. Auto-start the next round with a gap you choose, so the game keeps going while you play.
- The connection chip never lies. It only reads TWITCH once real chat has actually arrived — so if it says that, it is genuinely reading your channel.
What's in it, by the numbers
- 15 challenge kinds — a different shape of question each round rather than the same multiple choice over and over.
- 7 difficulty levels, plus a custom one you define yourself.
- 12 themes, light and dark.
- 142 settings across 25 groups — every behaviour is a switch in the panel, none of it needs a text editor.
- 8 channel-point actions so redemptions can drive the game.
Score, streak and board
Right answers build a score and a streak; the leaderboard tracks who is actually winning across the session. This is the competitive counterpart to a co-op chat game — here viewers are playing against each other, not keeping something alive together.
Customising it
Everything lives in the built-in gear panel, grouped into 25 sections: connection, game flow, rounds and timing, difficulty, scoring, themes, layout, motion and sound. There is no code to edit and no account to make.
Compatibility
Runs as a browser source in OBS Studio and as a custom widget on StreamElements. Reads Twitch chat.
What's included
A twelve-folder package: widget files, quick install, OBS Studio setup, StreamElements setup, Streamlabs Desktop setup, artwork assets, audio, fonts, customisation notes, a full tutorial, troubleshooting and backups.
Setup — about a minute
- In OBS: Sources → + → Browser. Leave Local file unticked and type
file:///plus the full path toindex.htmlusing forward slashes. Set the size to 760 × 440. - Right-click the source → Interact, click the gear, and type your Twitch channel name under CONNECTION.
- Scroll to RUN A ROUND and press START.
Leaving Local file unticked is deliberate: OBS opens a file:/// address from the URL box perfectly well, and doing it this way keeps the settings shortcuts working. Tick it and OBS stores a bare path, throwing away anything after a ?.
Digital delivery
This is a digital download. Nothing is shipped — you receive the complete widget package as a ZIP after purchase.
Important notes
One widget, not a bundle. Requires OBS Studio or StreamElements to display. The widget reads chat only and never posts to it. Channel points act as a trigger and nothing else — nothing here can be exchanged for anything of value, and no outcome is left to chance.
This is a digital product. Nothing is shipped. Your download link appears as soon as payment clears, and it is emailed to you as well.
